That's right, the new Child Support Assistant 2021 is now available, in which the Missouri side of the program has been updated to the latest and greatest Form 14 for 2021. Just click here to go to the download page.
Your current license key will continue to work with the new version, so you do not need to re-enter it when you upgrade.
This is a substantial upgrade, including a new, much requested feature wherein the child support amounts calculated as each child emancipates are now available on one Form 14. That is, if you have, for example, 4 children on your Form 14, your Form 14 will make the Line 12 values available to you for 3, 2, and 1 child by recalculating the same Form 14 but removing the appropriate children from the Form.
This new version is a substantial upgrade, and while we expect that there will be no serious bugs, one never knows. (There is a saying among programmers: "There's a bug in your software." There is a temporary issue with the installer that will be updated shortly but will not prevent you from downloading and installing the new version. For the very short term, the installer is not digitally signed. That means that Windows will flag the installer as being from an "unknown publisher" which may require a few extra clicks upon downloading to tell your web browser that yes, you know that this is a safe installer to run. This issue will be corrected as soon as I can get my final "Authenticode Private Key" and incorporate it into the installer. However, once you've installed the current version, you do not need to reinstall it even after the installer has been replaced with a digitally signed version. The Child Support Assistant 2021 itself will remain the same. If there are any upgrades to the program itself, as opposed to the installer, it will be noted on the download page.
