About Expert Assistant Legal Software

Expert Assistant Legal Software is the creator of The Form 14 Assistant, the number one professional child support calculation software in Missouri since 2001. Literally hundreds of attorneys and judges use our software every day. We've also expanded The Form 14 Assistant to include Kansas child support calculation in addition to Missouri (each state sold separately.) So, we had to give our software a new name. It's now The Child Support Assistant for Windows. We also have created a mobile version of our Missouri software, The Form 14 Assistant Mobile for Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android phones, and Android tablets, letting attorneys bring the power of The Form 14 Assistant wherever they go!

Our software is 100% designed and 100% programmed by attorney Michael P. Cohan.

Mr. Cohan holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been practicing domestic relations law since 1995, and is also an expert software designer and engineer. Unlike other products designed by programmers for hire who have no idea how family law is practiced, The Child Support Assistant and The Form 14 Assistant Mobile are 100% the product of one person who is both a practicing domestic relations attorney and a programmer. We think that's one reason why it's better. Mr. Cohan prides himself not only on providing a full featured product, but a product that's designed better than the alternatives. Better design equals ease of use equals greater productivity.
